Fulfilling a Lifelong Dream in the Bridal Industry

Most girls grow up full of dreams about their wedding day and finding the perfect gown. Gilda, the founder of Gilda’s Bridal Collection, is no different. She grew up dreaming about helping brides feel special and unique on their day. 

When Gilda was very young, she served as the flower girl at several weddings. Each time, she spent every moment she could admiring the brides and taking in every detail of their gowns, and she started designing her own 18 years birthday dress and several others.

Upon moving to America, she indulged her passion for working with brides – first by opening a salon catering to hairstyling and makeup application for brides. Next, she created custom bridal veils. 

As her passion and expertise grew, Gilda started designing wedding gowns and had them custom-made in Italy. 

She expanded her search for the ultimate in designs and traveled throughout Europe – mainly to Spain, Italy and France – to find inspiration for her unique creations. Her childhood dream is as vivid today as it was when she was a child. Gilda is always focused on matching brides like you with the ideal custom gown.
